What is SCRUM?

Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber conceived the scrum process in the early 1990s. The term came from rugby and referred to a team working towards a common goal.

Scrum is a subset of Agile. It is a lightweight process framework for agile development, and the most widely-used one.
